Accommodation:

CONSTANTIA MANOR GUESTHOUSE offers 4 star accommodation as graded by the South African Grading Council under the category for Guesthouses.

The following room types are available (changes hereto can occur to the owners will and might not be published in existing or old publications, latest update on request)

·        1 x family room that sleeps 3 people on one queen size bed and one ¾ bed in one room with en suite bathroom.

·        10 x double rooms that sleeps 2 people on one queen size bed with en suite bathroom.

·        3 x twin room with two ¾ beds in the room and en suite bathroom.

·        LUXURY Family room for 3 people at ZAR900.00 per night.  (ZAR300.00 per person sharing per night)

·        SUPERIOR Double rooms for 2 people at ZAR800.00 per night.  (ZAR400.00 per person sharing per night) and ZAR660.00 per single, per night.

·        LUXURY rooms for 2 people at ZAR700.00 per night (ZAR350.00 per person sharing per night) and ZAR570.00 per single person, per night.

·        STANDARD rooms at ZAR600.00 for two people and ZAR520.00 per single person, per night.

All above includes breakfast. All above is subject to availability at time of booking.

Breakfast:

At CONSTANTIA MANOR GUESTHOUSE breakfast is the highlight of your stay.  It is been served from 07.00am to 09.00 on weekdays and until 10.00am on weekends and public holidays in our dining room.  Dress code for dining room is smart casual.

Cold buffet is self-service and includes a choice of cereals, fresh fruit, fruit juice, yoghurt, white and brown bread, coffee&teas as well as baked delights to the chefs choice.

From the kitchen we serve by order and hot plated to your choice – eggs to taste, fried bacon and other breakfast related side dishes as per season or availability.

Lunch and Dinner:

Two course light lunch and cooked dinner consisting of a balanced meal and dessert are available on request and by prior and advanced arrangement at an extra cost.  Dinner at ZAR110.00 per meal and Lunch at ZAR85.00 per meal.

Dinner and Lunch must be pre-ordered and will be served at reasonable times or collectively with other guests.

All meals are served on the premises, either in the dining room or any other dining facility on the premises.

Meals are mostly prepared on location and of good, fresh quality to our best ability and availability of produce on the market.

All food is collectively been prepared in our kitchen and may thus contain traces/substances of nuts and peanuts.

Any and all food sensitivities and/or allergies must be brought to management’s attention prior to any meal preparations and orders. 

We do strive to honour all reasonable dietary requests. 

No room service.

CHILD POLICY:

·        Children are allowed and welcome BUT only under the direct supervision of their parents.

·        No children will be allowed to roam the premises without their parent’s present as we have an open swimming pool and other dangerous areas on the premises.

·        Children will not be allowed in the dining room without parent supervision.

·        Other guests must be taken in consideration when using and being on the grounds, dining room and in the buildings.

·        Please inform management about wet linen and beds, extra charges to clean and restore such damage will be charged to the final bill, as well as any other breakages and damage in and around the Guest house.

GENERAL:

·        All guests must complete and sign a booking form that contains basic information upon arrival.

·        Any personal detail and information will be for our own use only and will not without the consent of the signee make public to anybody outside the company.  Personal/contact/business details of all guests are required for billing and invoicing purposes.

·       All guests and guests of guests do enter the property at own risk.

·       The right of admission is strictly reserved by the owners of CONSTANTIA MANOR GUESTHOUSE to the discretion and security of all our staff and personnel on duty.

·        Beware and be careful of hard floor surfaces throughout the property (inside and out) and note that it can and may be slippery when wet.

·        Note and take good care at steps and stairs on the property. 

·        Use handrail at stairs and prevent and restrict children from playing and climbing around, over and on handrails and stairs as it may pose a risk of injury.

·        Pesticides are regularly used in the garden to keep it in good health, it could therefore be a risk to touch or eat plant products other than what is served in the dining room.  Beware of insects such as bees in the gardens.

·        The owner, managers, representatives and personnel of CONSTANTIA MANOR GUESTHOUSE or any person in service of the institute at any time will not be held liable or responsible for any injury, loss, death or damage that anyone on the premises may experience due to misconduct, miss behaviour or lack of adherence to any above warnings.

NO SUBSTANCE USE OR ABUSE WILL BE TOLERATED OR ALLOWED ON THE PREMISES, GUESTS THAT ARE SUSPECTED OF THIS AND/OR THAT MAKE THEMSELVES GUILTY TO THIS MISCONDUCT WILL BE ASKED TO PAY FULL FEE AND TO LEAVE THE PREMISES IMMEDIATELY.  LAW ENFORCEMENT WILL BE INVOLVED IN ANY CASE OF RESISTANCE.

PAYMENT, CANCELLATIONS AND DEPOSITS:

·        Full payment for accommodation is required on arrival.  Please provide proof of EFT transactions if it was made prior to arrival.

·        Meals, drinks and all extra services should be settled upon checking out.

·        In the event or early departure or no-show the full account is to be charged and paid.

·        Credit card details and imprint of valid credit card is required upon arrival and payment.  All card transactions must be signed as required by the law on card transactions by the card holder/signee. Cards not signed by the card holder will not be accepted.  Proof of identity is required. 

·        Cancellations should be made at least 48 hours prior to arrival.  If not the guest will be liable to pay the full account.

·        A deposit of 50% is required prior to arrival to ensure and secure the booking.In the event that the guest do not show for a booked room, the equivalent of one night's stay in the room category of your booking is payable.

·           

These terms and conditions apply in adherence to South African laws such as credit card transactions, consumer protection and human rights laws.  Please read and make yourself aware of these terms and conditions prior to your stay.
